Want Better Health? Read Up!
Information is power. This is true not just in business but in health as well. If you want to have better health, you have to know how your body works, what diseases and infections to watch out for and how to fight these enemies when they come. It’s a good thing that health magazines are around to keep us up to date.
Do you have a subscription to health magazines? It’s funny that a person can have a subscription to gossip magazines and even fashion magazines, but not health magazines. More important than thinking about celebrities and following clothing trends is minding your wellness.
What health magazines should you always has handy?
Reliable health magazines include Health, which publishes ten issues per year. Prevention is also a good brand. Then there’s Healthy Living Magazine.
Natural Health is one of the rare health magazines that provide information on alternative health options. They discuss with you home remedies for various conditions and even herbal solutions to your everyday problems. They also make detailed recommendations of alternative health practitioners in different locales.
Some health magazines are gender-sensitive such as Men’s Health, Women’s Health, Men’s Fitness and Women’s Fitness magazine. This is great because most generic health magazines can’t get in-depth with gender sensitive health concerns.
There are also health magazines that are targeted specifically for people with certain conditions. For instance, Diabetic-Lifestyle discusses different aspects of living with diabetes. The have advice for creating a sugar-free diet and lifestyle. They also keep you updated with the latest drug or procedure that can help you manage your blood glucose level.
If you cannot afford to buy health magazines, you can always browse online for some health news. A few of printed health magazines actually have free online versions. You can also subscribe to a health e-zine or an electronic magazine to make sure that you never miss out on the latest. Or you can look for health websites in magazine format.
When it comes to your health, make sure that you are not left out! You only have one body and so it pays to take care of it. Health is definitely one of those things you don’t get to appreciate until it’s gone.

Top Health Magazines – Best Reviews
Men’s Health (1-year) [MAGAZINE SUBSCRIPTION] |
Customer Review: As a regular reader of “Men’s Health,” I have long enjoyed its articles for their entertaining style and the useful information contained in its pages. After several years, however, it has become obvious that there are only so many abs exercises, or amusing sex tips, or ways to portray men as charmingly stupid. I realize that I no longer need to buy the magazine as I can just look at the back issues I have instead. It covers the basics well, but does it over and over, so my advice is to enjoy it for a year and then go on to more advanced things on your own…. Read More |

EatingWell [MAGAZINE SUBSCRIPTION] |
Customer Review: I spent a lot of time trying to pick a cooking/nutrition magazine to subscribe to, and this is the one. It has tons of great recipes, nice pictures, and interesting articles that don’t repeat the same old food/diet information I’ve read a hundred times. But probably the thing that sets this magazine apart the most is that compared to every other magazine I’ve looked at, there are BARELY ANY ADVERTISEMENTS. Nothing makes me feel more ripped off than to find that my magazine is about 40% full page ads. I’m so glad I found one that’s not like that….. Read the full review |

Self (1-year) [MAGAZINE SUBSCRIPTION] |
Customer Review: While I look to Glamour and Mademoiselle magazines for intelligent topics on women’s interests and look to Cosmopolitan for sex and relationship advice and Vogue for the latest fashion trends, I look to Self for self-improvement. This glossy mag features articles on how to stay fit, eat healthy, look and feel great and delves into issues such as breast cancer and different types of painful menstruation as well as articles on what a difference it makes to eat strawberries instead of chocolate for snack and the importance of drinking water … Click Here for More Info |
